These masks are made by another group of artisans in Chiapas. Some communities use machine embroidery in their traditional garments and it makes them less fragile.
The masks are a light denim for the front and cotton in the back. The elastic strings tie around the head.
There are 4 styles of embroidery. Embroideries vary from mask to mask.
For every mask purchased we will give one to a Native community in need here in the USA or to migrant shelters.
Price is for one mask. The donated one is on us.
Masks are listed per color but we can not assure which embroidery it will have as every piece is unique.
