These rugs are part of our latest project to build sustainable relationships with artisan families in Guatemala.
Inspired by the traditional pattern that you find on traditional rugs in Momostenango, the rugs are responsibly made out of locally sourced wool, that has previously been carded, spun and dyed before being woven.
The art of making these rugs consists of knotting wool strings on a handwoven cotton base, all on a pedal loom.
- Hand-woven in the Western Guatemalan highlands
- 100% wool, cotton backing.
- 52″ x 86″
Rug Pad recommended.
